• IT: Parte della grammatica che studia la forma delle parole e come cambiano in base alla loro funzione nella frase.
• EN: Branch of grammar that studies the form of words and how they change depending on their function in the sentence.

1.1. Morfema / Morpheme

• IT: La più piccola unità dotata di significato.
• EN: The smallest unit that carries meaning.
• Tipi / Types:
  • Lessicali / Lexical morphemes → radici con significato pieno / roots with full meaning.
  • Grammaticali / Grammatical morphemes → desinenze, prefissi, suffissi / endings, prefixes, suffixes.

• IT: Unità autonoma formata da uno o più morfemi.
• EN: Independent unit formed by one or more morphemes.

2.1. Flessone / Inflection

• IT: Cambiamenti che adattano la parola alla frase senza creare nuove parole.

2.2. Derivazione / Derivation

• IT: Creazione di nuove parole tramite prefissi o suffissi.

• IT: Unione di due parole per formarne una nuova.
